அதி சுழுத்தி
[ Adhisuzhuththi]
- a. மயக்கத்தோடு கூடிய தூக்கம்.
b. (In pathology) A sleep accompanied by giddiness or suspension of sensibility – Coma. Suzhuththi as it is termed in other languages is the consciousness of blissful ignorance or positive consciousness. It is a state of calmness of existence in which there will be absence or negation of pleasure or pain. A searching analysis of psychological experience will only lead to the conclusion that it is a sort of deep sleep in which the mind is carried every day to Brahmam and the subject becomes indentified or one with the truth.
a. மூன்றாம் அவஸ்தையாகிய உயிர் நிலை உபாதி.
b. (In Vedanta philosophy) A state in which the soul rapt in visions seems to have passed out of the body. This engrossment of the faculties is generally experience only in the Yoga practice.

b. (In religious philosophy) Suspension of the functions of the senses in the contemplation of the supreme.
