b. Alangy, Hill sack tree - Alangium Lamarckii alias A. Decapitalum. A tree whose root, bark, fruits, flowers, leaves etc, are medicinal and are used as antidotes for poison snake-bites etc. It is also said to be useful for occult purposes owing to its psychic virtues.
