a. (அஞ்சனம்    திரயம் ஸ்ரீ மை + மூன்று) வித மை அதாவது (1) பூதாஞ்சனம்,
(2) சோராஞ்சனம், (3) பாதாளஞ்சனம்.

b. The three kinds of black magical unguent are,
   i. That which is used for communication with the evil spirits or with the dead.
   ii. That which is used for finding out the stolen or lost property.
   iii. The one used for tracing or finding out the treasure or substances concealed under the ground.
