a. அனுமன் + சீவி = அனுமனால் கொண்டு வரப்பட்ட சஞ்சீவி அதாவது உயிர் தருமருந்து.

b. (literally) it refers to the herb which was brought by Hanuman for reviving the dead and so it means any medicine which is capable of saving a man from death – Restorative.
