One of the passages in the central nervous system extending from the base of the spinal column known as "Sacral Plexus" to the top of the spinal cord through the vertebral column. It is active only in those who practise yoga.
NOTE: 1. Fire ordinarily refers to the fuel burning on a hearth or in any other place as explained under Note. 3. But physiologically, it is differently classified according to its use for a particular purpose, as for instance.

NOTE: 2. உதாரக்கனி, is the name given to the active principle or fluid to which the phenomena of the heat were formerly attributed. It is one of the amount of this heat (calorific) that the digestive faculty of the stomach depends, for, this, heat is supposed to give rise to hunger. According to the Indian Medical Science, it is divided into four classes in consistence with the nature of its action. It is apparently due to the constitutional changes in the system, and therefore, the degree of hunger caused thereby in each case, is measured by the used of the following terms.
