a. பெண்கள் வயிறு நிரம்பவுண்டு கடினப் புணர்ச்சி செய்வதனால் வாயு அதிகரித்து, உள்நோக்கிய முகமாக எழும்பி, யோனியை விரிக்க முடியாதபடி வலியையும், பூவொதுங்குவதால், அங்குள்ள எலும்பு, மாமிசம், நரம்பு முதலியவைகளுக்கு வலியையும் உண்டாக்கி அடிவயிற்றில் சூலையையும் உண்டாக்கும் ஓர் நோய்.

b. A vaginal disease characterised by pain in every part of the genital, bone, muscles, nerves etc., inability to stretch the part and darting pain in the abdomen and in the lower region just above the pubis. It is due to the deranged condition of Vayu arising from violent or rude intercourse when the stomach is full after meals.
