அசாத்திய மூட கர்ப்பம்

பலவீனம், ஆயாசம் முதலிய காரணங்களினால் அபான வாயுவானது கர்ப்பத்தை நிலை தடுமாறச் செய்து, யோனி, வயிறு இவைகளில் சூலையை உண்டாக்கிக் கர்ப்பிணிக்குக் கழுத்து நிற்காமலும் கை கால்கள் சில்லிட்டும், அறிவழிந்தும் போகச் செய்வதுடன், பிண்டத்தையும் கர்ப்பிணியையும் இறக்கச் செய்யும் கருப்பம் - A condition or pregnancy brought about by the child in the uterus taking an unnatural course or position due to pressure through weakness, languor etc. It is marked by sharp pain in the genital and the abdomen, chillness of the extremities, loss of senses, and lack of firmness in the neck. It finally ends in the death of both the mother and the child.
அசாத்திய கருப்பம் - பெண்களின் வஸ்தி தானத்தில் சிக்கிக் கொண்டு குழந்தை வெளிப்படாமல் வயிற்றைக் கீறி எடுக்க நேரிடும் ஓர் கஷ்டமான கருப்பம் - Pregnancy in which the delivery is obstructed in the natural passages by transverse presentation and the child is removed by operation, as in Contracted pelvis.

NOTE: - This operation is known as Caesarean section, which means the incision of the uterus through the abdominal walls and extraction of the foetus there from. This kind of operation is only resorted to, when the mother’s life is in peril and the expulsion of the foetus becomes nearly impossible by the natural passages, owing to the existence of deformity either in the parturient canal or in the forms and structures of the foetus. It is principally undertaken to save both the mother and the child.
