a. புறவீச்சு, இது பிடரி நரம்பைப் பற்றித் தலையில் வலியையும், கண் புருவம், கன்னப்பொறி, தாடை முதலிய இடங்களில் பரவி அங்கங்கு சுவரணையறச் செய்யும். இது திரிதோஷத்தினால் ஏற்படும்.

It especially produces a throbbing pain in the cheek and paralysis in the region of the jaw and the eye. It is due to the concerted action of the three doshas.
