a. வானத்தை மேகம் சுற்றினாற் போல் கருவிழியில் ஓர் வெண்ணிறமான சவ்வு படர்ந்து, நீர் வடிந்து, வலி கொள்ளும் ஓர் கண்ணோய், இது சாத்தியம்.

b. (lit, non-ulcerated film) A whitish film appearing on the region of the choroid including the iris just like a speck of transparent cloud in the sky and attended with lachrymation and slight pain due to the eye-disease known as Abhishiyandam (ophalmia). It is easily curable.
