அவபேதக வாதம்

a. முகத்திற் பல இடங்களில் வாயு பரவி, நெற்றி பிளந்து போவதுபோல் பொறுக்க முடியாத வலியை உண்டாக்கும் ஓர் வகை வாத நோய். இது சிலேட்டுமத்தினால் பிறந்து, முக்கியமாய்க் கண், புருவம், நெற்றி இவைகளைத் தாக்கும்.

b. A disease affecting the facial nerves and causing an unbearable piercing pain. It is due to deranged Vayu. It chiefly affects the eyes, eyebrows and the forehead – Histrionic paralysis.
