a. ஆசன வளையங்களில் மாமிச முளைகள் வளர்ந்து துன்புறுத்தும் மூல நோய், இத வாத பித்தம் கோளாறு அடைந்து குடல் வழியாய் மலவாயிலிற் பிரவேசித்து, அவ்விடத்தில் கோவை உண்டு பண்ணும்.

b. A disease which gives rise to the growth of polypi or fleshy condylomata at the anus known as piles. This is caused by the deranged Vayu, and Pitham enraged by several aggravating causes and disledged from their natural seats, to pass through the large intestines and the descending colon where the disease originates.
