a. வாயு சம்பந்தத்தினால் உடம்பு முழுதும் கருஞ் சிவப்பான தழும்புகள் பரவிக் குத்தல் வலியை உண்டாக்கித் திமிர் கண்டு, துன்புறுத்து ஓர் வகைக் குட்டநோய்.

b. A kind of leprosy which owes its origin to an exuberance of the deranged Vayu. The lesions consist of well-defined reddish brown patches spreading in nature. It is marked by pricking and piercing pain and insensibility of the skin to the touch - Macular leprosy.
