a. பிராண அபான வாயுக்கள் வாத பித்த சிலேட்டுமங்களை அதிகரிக்கச் செய்வதனால் அதிக சுரங்காயந்து, காதடியில் வீக்கத்தை உண்டுபண்ணும் ஓர் வாத நோய்.

b. A rheumatism marked by high fever and swelling below the lobes of the ears.It arises from an abnormal increase of the three humours as a consequence of the vital airs Prana and Apana prevailing upon the region of the ear.
