a. (அபிசங்கம் – தழுவுதல்) பூதாவேசம், ஒளடதம், விடம், கோபம், பயம், துக்கம், காமம் ஆகிய இவ்வேழு வகைக் காரணங்களை முன்னிட்டுச் செயற்கையால் உண்டாகும் காய்ச்சல்.

In certain cases of fever of this type, a young beautiful girl is asked to take the patient into a firm embrace as a means of cure.
