a. கிரந்தியைப் போல் உடம்பு முழுவதும் வீங்கி வெடித்து அதினின்றும் கறுப்பு இரத்தம் வடிந்து, தொடக் கூடாத வலியை உண்டாக்கும் ஓர் வகைக் குட்டம்.

b. Kind of leprosy analogous to syphilis, attended with swelling, ulceration and a discharged of venous blood. The prodromal symptoms are associated with hyperesthesia of skin.
