அதி மாமிசம்

ஏதாவதோர் உறுப்பில் அல்லது உடம்பின் ஓர் பாகத்தில் புதிதாகவுண்டாகும் கழலை முதலிய சதைவளர்ச்சி - Any new or abnormal formation of flesh in any organ or part of the body, like a tumour, false membrane etc – Neoplasm.
உடம்பின் சூட்டினால் கண் சிவந்து சதை வளர்ந்து உறுத்தும் ஓர் கண்ணோய் - An inflammation of the eyes, especially of the conjunctive, characterised by an abnormal growth and painful irritation – Conjunctivitis.
பாவை பச்சை நிறமாகி நாளுக்கு நாள் கண் புகைச்சல் அதிகமாகிச் சதை வளர்ந்து பார்வையையிழந்து எரிச்சல், நீர் வடிதல், நிமிர்ந்து நேரே பார்க்க அலகினால் குத்தினாற் போல் வலியை யுண்டாக்கும் ஓர் கண்ணோய்- An inflammation of the cornea marked by greenish growth over the pupil of the eye, progressive hazy appearance resulting in the loss of sight, watery discharge from the eyes and darting pain in the uvea (dark portion) with the inability to look erect and straight – Green cataract.
அதி மாங்கிஷம் - புரைக் கழலை, சதைப் பற்றுள்ள கழலை - A fleshy growth or tumour generally of a malignant character – Sarcoma.
ஒரு கழலைக்குள் வளரும் மற்றொரு கழலை - A proliferous cyst situated within a cyst – Serocystic sarcoma.
