கண்ணீல் நீர் வடிந்து, விழிகடுத்து, இமைகள் வீங்கிக் கண் சிவந்து எhpச்சலுண்டாகிப் பீளைகட்டும் ஓர் நோய், அன்றியும், பூச்சி ஊர்வது போல் அரிப்புண்டாக்கி மூக்கில் நீர் வடிவதுடன் அடுத்தடுத்து வலியையும் உண்டாக்குமென்பர் - A kind of ophthalmic characterised by itching sensation, water running through the nose and intermittent pain in the eyes.
It is usually attended with mucopurulent discharge, irritation of the eyes, swelling of the eyelids, etc.
